AIMCO Introduces AcraDyne's Gen IV Controller

AcraDyne, a division of AIMCO, is announcing their 15th Anniversary of their first DC system. In celebration of the 15th Anniversary, the company has launched the new Gen IV Controller, developed to be the core of the modular AcraDyne DC system. The Gen IV is compatible with more than 300 models of tools from .05 Nm to 8,100 Nm, all with one cable.

"The new controller, engineered and manufactured in the United States, is the result of 15-years of extensive research and design efforts in DC fastening systems, we now have one of the most complete systems in the industry worldwide" says AIMCO's Vice President of Product Development and Technology, Len Demchak. The on-board software package is a comprehensive, user-friendly program that allows the user to add/edit parameter sets, view curve results in real time and provides programming and diagnostics for repair, calibration or advanced trouble shooting.

The software is based on a standard web browser allowing you to connect the AcraDyne Gen IV controller with any computer, tablet or smart device. Connect through Ethernet, USB, or wirelessly. You can use more than one device at a time; be in program mode on one device while reviewing real-time curves on another, while watching tool diagnostics on a third. The controller can store up to 10,000 rundowns, including curves.
