eci Spinnomatic is proud to present a new machine at the Assembly Show 2014.This machine will display eci SpinnOmatic’s quality, collaboration abilities, and customization of machinery. This 4-Station dial machine will feature a fully automated design that attendees can run and experience. To start the operator will load the washers onto a riveting pin. Once the washers are loaded in the correct order monitored by (Banner sequencing bins) the opperator will be prompted to press the start button.
. Next an ABB Robot will pick the pin and present the part to the Banner Vision System. This verifies the components and double checks the sequence of the washers. If the order or height of the washers are incorrect the pin is picked up by the robot and placed in a reject bin. If everything is correct the ABB robot will pick up the pin and set it on a Camco Indexing Table. Once the pin is placed on the Camco Indexer, the indexing table will rotate to a laser station to measure the actual height of the stud before proceeding to the Spinnomatic Forming Machine. The measurement of the stud before form will be sent to the SpinnOmatic machine to adjust the stoke needed to form the pin within a .002 tolerance. Once the pin is formed the indexing table will rotate back to the laser station to verify the height of the rivet after the form. The robot will then unload the pin to a good part bin or reject bin depending on the final measurement provided by the Laser System.

While also double checking the product parts, pin heights, and final rivet heights, holding a rivet form of .002 tolerance. Furthermore this machine is an example of how eci SpinnOmatic is capable of creating any type of custom machinery.
