Team Takes Part in Making Strides Walk
October 22, 2013 JACKSON, N.J. - UNEX will exhibit a pink powder-coated Flow Cell unit during The Assembly Show Oct. 28 to 30 in Rosemont, Il. The unit is designed to demonstrate UNEX’s support of women affected by breast cancer.
“Nearly every person on the UNEX team knows someone who has battled breast cancer,” said Brian Neuwirth, vice president of sales and marketing at UNEX. “We decided to show our support with the pink Flow Cell unit, as well as take part in the local breast cancer walk.”
About 20 people from Team UNEX raised $1,810 to support breast cancer research during the Oct. 20 Making Strides Walk held in Point Pleasant Beach, N.J. In addition, UNEX will donate a portion of the proceeds from Flow Cells ordered in pink to the American Cancer Society.
Flow Cells from UNEX are designed to provide flexible, modular and portable workstations for use in lineside storage, sub-assembly stations, supermarket racks and as modular mobile carts. The units can be powder-coated in a range of colors.
